New Delhi
Rahul Dravid returned to the field and joined the KSCA League game with his son Anvay Dravid. Rahul has two sons, Anvay and Samit. Both are cricketers. Communist is an all-rounder while the wicket is wicketkeeper-batsman. Rahul also took wicketkeeping for a certain period in his career. Anvay recently represented Karnataka in the Vijay Merchant Trophy. He has led his state team in under-14 cricket. The Samiti has also played age-group cricket for Karnataka. His success in junior cricket chose him in India’s Under-19 cricket team for the domestic series against Australia in 2024, but he was out due to injury.

Rahul Dravid is out early
Rahul’s performance was not memorable as he was dismissed early in the league game. One of the two Indian batsmen who scored more than 10,000 runs in Tests and ODIs, Rahul was dismissed for 10 runs. Anvay showed amazing with the bat and scored 58 runs. Rahul’s return to the field to play with his son will be like a dream come true for Avayya.

Unlike many other cricketers, Rahul has been away from on-field action since his retirement and he has not participated in any legend league. After retiring from international cricket, he took care of commentary and coaching. Before NCA became the head, Dravid gave coaching to India’s junior team for about 4 years. He gave coaching to Team India from 2021 to 2024.

He also worked as the head coach of Rajasthan Royals (RR) in IPL 2014 and 2015 before going to Delhi Capitals. Rahul returned to RR after the end of his term with India and he is all set to lead his coaching staff once again. Dravid Kumar will work with Sangakkara, who has done a good job as RR’s coach. RR has not won the elusive trophy since the IPL 2008 win.
