Another good news has come for Indian travelers. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced a visa on Arrival facility for Indian citizens. This will make Indian passengers travel to Dubai and other Emirates easier than ever.
Till now Indian citizens were getting Visa on Arrival in countries like Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. But now UAE has also joined this list. In particular, Indian citizens who are green cards or resident permit holders in the above 6 countries can avail this facility. This will greatly benefit Indian traders and tourists, while the tourism sector of Saudi Arabia is also expected to be promoted.
Facility implemented from 13 February
According to the report of Financial Express, UAE visa on Arrival Service for Indians has been implemented from 13 February 2025. Earlier this facility was available only to the Indian residents of the US, European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK), but now it has also opened to Indian citizens living in six other countries.
This step of the UAE government has been taken with the aim of simplifying travel processes for Indian travelers and providing new employment opportunities in the country.
Visa facility will be available in three categories
UAE is providing visa on arrival to Indians in three different categories-
4-day Visa: AED 100
14-day Visa: AED 250
60-day Visa: AED 250
Apart from this, other visa options are also available –
Single Entry Tourist Visa: valid for 30 or 60 days
Multi Entry Tourist Visa: 30, 60 days or up to 5 years
Transit Visa: 48 hours or 96 hours
E-visa facility for residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries
This decision of UAE will facilitate Indian travelers to get fast visas and will easily travel to Dubai and other Emirates without a long process.
