A company in southern China has made a rule to its employees to use the toilet for a fixed time. Such toilet rules of the company are complaining on the internet.

The company argues that this policy is in line with ancient Chinese medicine. On February 11, the Three Brothers Machine Manufacturing Company, located in Foshan, Guangdong province, introduced a rule regarding the use of toilet. The purpose of which is to maintain system, increase efficiency and correct the approach of the workplace.

Yangcheng Evening News said that the company cited the ancient Chinese medical book that this guideline is for the health of its employees. This basic book compiled 2,000 years ago is considered to be the earliest and most important in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), often called “the beginning of medicine” in China, which is the theory required for TCM.

This is the time for employees to go to the toilet
According to the company’s policy, employees are allowed to use the toilets before 8 am, from 10.30 am to 10.40 am, between 12 to 1.30 pm, from 3.30 to 3.40 pm and 5.30 pm to 6 pm. Work in overtime shift Employees are allowed to use facilities after 9 pm.

Only 2 minutes will get time
During other time -to -day, if workers need to toilet immediately, they can do so, but they have to limit their time to two minutes. The company has also imposed strict ban on the use of toilets in the morning and afternoon, including overtime shifts.

Employees who need to go to the toilet during limited intervals due to special physical problems can take permission for this from HR. However, their salary will be cut for the time spent during this period.

Cameras will be monitored
The company said that it will keep an eye on the employees through monitoring cameras and will impose a fine of 100 yuan on those who violate the rules. It was planned to implement this rule by the end of February on a pilot basis and its official implementation was to be done from 1 March.

Lawyers and others criticized
Guangdong Yiu Law firm’s lawyer Chen Shiking has commented that the rule violates labor laws by threatening the health of the employees. It has been made mandatory in the law that for any change in salaries, hours of work, rest period, holidays or security protocols of employees, it should be discussed in the presence of all employees or their representatives to ensure mutual consent.

According to the chain, workers have the right to criticize and report any such order that threatens their safety or goodness. It has faced heavy criticism since the company’s toilet policy became public.

Now the company announced to cancel this rule
The editorial of Beijing News said that any person with normal intelligence can see that this rule is an arbitrary decision taken by its management. This is an example of a powerful approach in this enterprise, which promotes a rigorous management style towards its employees. On 13 February, the company announced its decision to cancel the rule in response to its employees’ comprehensive objections.
