Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that due to unlimited experiments of agricultural chemicals, environment and human health are being adversely affected. Therefore, it is necessary to encourage biological and natural agricultural techniques. According to the data of the Government of India in the current year in the state, organic farming program is being taken in an area of ​​about 1 lakh acres under the Natural Agricultural Development Scheme. In the coming years, the goal of carrying organic-natural farming to five lakh hectares should be kept. For the purpose of getting better prices of organic products, organic hot-markets should be installed at various places in the state. Ideal district and development blocks should be developed for natural agricultural products in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also instructed to set up fairs based on organic and natural farming in the state. He said that solar pumps will be provided to farmers doing organic farming. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the State Level Organic Agricultural Production and Property Promotion Workshop organized by the Department of Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav lit the lamp and launched the program. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also visited a district and an exhibition organized by various departments and institutions working in the field of organic farming.
Referring to his foreign visits, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the whole world is looking towards Madhya Pradesh for pollution -free, healthy natural agricultural products. New techniques should increase agricultural production increase, but for environmental protection, it is necessary to maintain balance with biological and natural farming. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this year has been declared an industry year, but it is necessary to implement policies by taking farming with farming in the agricultural state Madhya Pradesh. Therefore, the state government is paying special attention to developing agro -based industries. Agricultural -based industries will be established in districts where industrial rates are low. He said that the current trading capacity of animals in the state is 9 percent which will be increased by 20 percent.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is making every effort to increase the prosperity and income of the farmers of the state. Agricultural producers are being given a transport expenditure on exporting vegetable production in collaboration with the Government of India and the State Government, it is necessary to promote its information to the farmers. For this, the campaign being run with the help of agricultural producing organizations and self -sevy organizations should be given momentum.
Agriculture Minister Shri Edal Singh Kanshana said that on the basis of the workshop organized, biological production policy will be formulated on the basis of agricultural climate area of ​​various districts of the state. He informed that MoUs have been done with 9 service providers in the state for organic farming. According to APEDA, the area under organic farming in the state is 11.48 lakh hectares. A total of 20 lakh 55 thousand hectare area is being done in the state, which is the highest in the country, which is the highest in the country. Strict steps have been taken to prevent burning of stubble in the state. More than 42 thousand 500 agricultural implements have also been distributed to the farmers for remnant management in the field itself, which has reduced the tendency to burn stubble.
