Alan Musk’s satellite network Starlink is present in many countries including the US, Canada, but has not been launched in India. The company has been trying for many years. A few years ago, he had also started taking a booking amount from people in Bengaluru, but due to the government drag, the company had to retreat from its plan. Since then, Starlink has been watching the way to start service in India. Now this effort is seen reaching its point. According to a report, the Indian Space Regulator may take a big decision in this regard very soon. A report claimed that Starlink may be given approval to provide commercial broadband service. The path of broadband service will be cleared as soon as Starlink gets approval. Starlink has also submitted the necessary details.
The Ministry of Home Affairs and Space Department will review the Standing Committee of Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Center. She will then decide on Starlink. After approval of spectrum and in-space, Starlink will need an operator license of the Department of Telecommunication (DOT). Only then can he start service.

But he has said that even if he installs a gateway in neighboring countries, the data of Indians will not cross the border.
