However, Hamas spokesperson has expressed surprise and described it as a ridiculous statement at the matter of completely removing Hamas fighters from Gaza. Earlier, Israel had proposed to retreat from Hamas from Gaza region under the ceasefire agreement.
On Tuesday, Hamas spokesman Hedam Qasim said, “We are ready for the second phase. Under this, prisoners can be swapped at a time. ” Explain that this proposal came from Hamas after making a statement against the phased release of the Israeli hostage of US President Donald Trump. At the same time, the people of Gaza appealed to Hamas to release the loved ones imprisoned in Israel at one time.
During this time, Hamas has described Israel’s appeal as unacceptable to retreat from Gaza. The group spokesman said, “The condition of removing Hamas from Gaza Patti is a ridiculous psychological war.” He said, “Any arrangement for the future of Gaza Patti will be done by national consent.”
Qasim also spoke on the decision of the group to increase the number of prisoners released from three to six on Saturday. “The number of prisoners released to prove our seriousness in implementing all the conditions of the agreement has been doubled in response to the request of the intermediaries,” he said. He said that in return, Israel will release prisoners who are serving life imprisonment and long sentence.
