IAS officers will now handle the security of Mahakal temple, know the full news

The administration has taken a big step amidst increasing controversy over the deteriorating system in Mahakal temple and entry into Bhasma Aarti. A total of nine officers including two deputy collector, two Naib Tehsildars have been appointed to strengthen the temple management. Earlier, an IPS officer was made the administrator of the temple.

Changes in temple management
Recently, the administration showed activeness after the incidents of fire, wall collapse and illegal recovery. After these incidents, IAS officer First Kaushik was appointed as the administrator of the temple. Now, under the order of the Collector Office, five other officials including Deputy Collector Simmi Yadav and SN Soni, Naib Tehsildar Himanshu Carpenter and Ashish Palwadia have been given the responsibility in the temple management.

After the FIR in the Mahakal temple fire, wall collapse, and illegal recovery in the name of entry, IAS I was made the administrator of the temple. After the order issued about four days before the Collector Office, two deputy collector Simmi Yadav, SN Soni, Naib Tehsildar Himanshu Carpenter, Ashish Palwadia, Project Officer Arun Sharma, ADPC Girish Tiwari, ATO LN Makwana, Deputy Minister to improve the temple system. SK Pandey, Devendra Parmar has been appointed.

On Monday, all the officers were visited by the temple and told about the arrangement of the temple. Now soon all the officers will handle the temple arrangements. Collector Neeraj Singh said that in view of the increasing number of devotees after becoming Mahakal Lok, the state government has made IPS a administrator to strengthen the administrative system of the temple. Now Naib Tehsildar and new officers including two deputy collector will handle engineering wing, security and other arrangements in the temple.

On Monday, all the officials visited the temple and inquired about the arrangements. Collector Neeraj Singh said that it has been decided to strengthen the administrative structure in view of the increase in the number of devotees after Mahakal Public Works.

Grand adornment of Mahakal on Shivnavaratri
A grand event was held at the Mahakal temple on the third day of Shivnavaratri. The temple’s doors were opened at four o’clock on Wednesday morning and Lord Mahakal was specially anointed at Bhasma Aarti. God was bathed with Panchamrit made of water, milk, curd, ghee, sugar and juice. This was followed by a beautiful makeup with cannabis, sandalwood, dry fruits, vermilion and jewelery.

Lord Ganesha, Mata Parvati and Karthikeya were worshiped in Bhasma Aarti. Lord Mahakal was offered fruit-mishthana. Nandi ji was specially worshiped in Nandi Hall. Lord Mahakal was consumed by the Maha Nirvani Akhara, after which the entire temple resonated with the shouts of “Jai Mahakal”.
