Data company Nubio has released its list of most expensive and cheap cities in the world for the year 2025. The list includes a total of 327 cities in this list (Numbo Cost of Living Index 2025), of which the cities of India, Egypt and Pakistan are the most cheapest. The cheapest city (at number 327) is Coimbatore in India. The most expensive (at the top) is the Zurich City of Switzerland. The survey has been done by comparing the expenditure in cities around the world based on the life cost of New York. It includes home fare, food and purchasing power.
The first three most expensive cities of this list are from Switzerland. Loseen and Geneva are the second and third most expensive cities in the world after Zurich. New York of America is fourth. Bajel of Switzerland is fifth and burn is sixth. The index ranks seventh in San Francisco of America and the eighth position of Honolulu. Iceland’s racjavik and America’s Boston are also in the list of ten most expensive cities. This is followed by Singapore 11th, Washington 13th and London 14th.
Cheap cities in India-Pakistan
Coimbatore in India is the cheapest city in the world. This is followed by Alexandria of Egypt (326th). Pakistan’s Lahore is the third cheapest (325th) and Karachi is the fourth cheapest city. Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, is at number 314 in this list. Lahore and Karachi are 85 per cent cheap than Zurich.
India’s Lucknow (323rd), Jaipur (322), Surat (321), Kochi (320), Bhuvneshwar (319), Kolkata (318) Vadodara (316) and Chandigarh are 315th in the list, among the cheapest cities. Are. Among other cities of India, Mumbai (286), Gurugram (291) Pune (299), Delhi (301), Noida (303), Hyderabad (309), Ahmedabad (310) and Chennai are at number 311 in this list. In the list, 314 to 327 i.e. the cheapest 14 cities have two Egyptians, three from Pakistan and 9 Indian cities.
