Chief Minister Sai appreciated the comprehensive electrification in Naxal -affected areas under the Need Nellanar Yojana. This will help the villagers to include the mainstream of development and improve their standard of living. Chief Minister Sai instructed the officials to illuminate the remaining areas deprived of electricity facilities as soon as possible.
Consumers will get relief in electricity bill payment, online payment will be promoted
Chief Minister Sai directed to give special relief to consumers for payment of arrears of electricity bill. He said that due to non -payment of electricity bill on time, the government causes revenue loss, while consumers also have to face inconvenience. Therefore, special facilities should be given to pay outstanding bills of the outstanding bill, which will provide relief to consumers and also increase the revenue of the government.
He also directed that information about their electricity bill should be provided to consumers through mobile messages and links so that they can easily pay online.
Technical innovation in energy sector will get encouragement
Chief Minister Sai reviewed the schemes of the state and central government related to rural and urban electrification. He said that the use of modern techniques in the energy sector will not only save electricity, but also will also provide more facilities to consumers.
Chief Minister Sai directed to improve the quality of power supply, reduce transmission and distribution loss, and develop concrete strategies to prevent technical and commercial losses.
