A meeting was held in Mahanadi Bhavan today regarding the budget proposal of Minister Kedar Kashyap’s departments. Finance Minister OP Chaudhary and Cooperative Minister Kedar Kashyap discussed the departmental budget of forest and climate change, water resources, skill development and cooperation. In the meeting, important schemes and policies for the upcoming financial year were discussed, so that the development works of the concerned departments can be accelerated.
During the budget discussion, Additional Chief Secretary Richa Sharma and Subrata Sahu, Secretary of Finance Department Mukesh Kumar Bansal, Secretary of Cooperation Department C.R. Prasanna, Water Resources Department Secretary Rajesh Sukumar Toppo and Skill Development Secretary S.K. Bharatidasana and other departmental officers of Forest and Climate Change, Water Resources, Skill Development and Cooperation were also present.
In this important meeting, special emphasis was laid on budget allocation, new schemes and development works. During the discussion, departmental officials gave information about budget requirements and proposed schemes, so that effective implementation can be ensured in the financial year 2025-26.
