5G rollout in 22 months

The minister claimed that about 99 percent of the country’s areas have reached 5G connectivity. He said that the government is promoting 6G technology. It is also being claimed that the user can get 100Mbps data speed with the help of 6G technology, which is currently about 20MBPS. In such a situation, internet speed will increase by 5 times. According to Jyotiraditya Scindia, till about 10 years ago, internet speed used to be 1.5 Mbps in India. Scindia said that by 2028, the country will achieve the $ 5 trillion mark and by 2030, a target of about $ 6 trillion can be achieved.

Jyotiraditya Scindia said that India is the second largest mobile phone market in the world. Overall, this is the third largest market in the world. India’s digital progress is opening doors of many possibilities in the country.

Rapid digital payment in India
Currently, more than 46 percent transactions in India are being done in digital ways. Their number is about 170 lakh crores. He said that PM Modi wants the country to be known as a product nation, not a service nation. This is the reason why indigenous products are being emphasized. Swadeshi 4G service is being developed by BSNL.

Indigenous 4G stack will be ready in 18 months
The government company is working closely with Tejas Network, a company in C-DOT private sector. C-DOT is to develop core, while Tejas develops radio access networks. It is being claimed that India will make its own 4G stack in the next 18 months. India will be the fourth country in the world to do this.
