Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi on Monday morning. The earth continued to shout for several seconds. People got out of their homes in Dashhat. According to the National Center for Seismology, the intensity of the earthquake on the Richter scale was measured at 4.0, its center was at a depth of 5 km from the earth near Delhi. That is why there was a sharp shock. The tremors that lasted for a few seconds were so sharp that there was a strong vibration inside the buildings. The earthquake struck at 5.36 am, causing people to sleep.

After Delhi, the capital of the country, now an earthquake of equal intensity (4.0) has been felt in Siwan, Bihar. The people of Siwan came into panic due to the earthquake. People left their homes and ran into open areas. The National Center for Sisamology has reported that the intensity of the earthquake on the Richter scale was 4.0.

The people of Siwan, who felt the tremors of the earthquake, told that they felt as if the earth was moving very loudly. People started alerting one of their family members and raised the children on the lap or shoulders and ran out. Many people were seen outside the house for a long time in the panic of after shock.

An official told PTI-Bhasha that the center of the earthquake was near Durgabai Deshmukh College of Special Education in Dhaula Kuan. The official said that where the earthquake was the center, it has a lake. This area has been experiencing earthquake with small and low intensity once every two to three years. He said, in 2015, there was a 3.3 magnitude earthquake. Earthquake tremors were felt in neighboring states along with Delhi-NCR. Panic spread among the people and they got out of their homes. At present, there has been no news of loss of life and property from anywhere.

Call Dial 112 in any emergency. On January 7, tremors were felt in Delhi, when the 6.8 magnitude earthquake in Tibet caused widespread havoc. Former Delhi Chief Minister Atishi also posted on X and wished everyone’s protection. He wrote, ‘There has just been a strong earthquake in Delhi. I pray to God that all people are safe. AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal wrote on X, ‘I pray for everyone’s safety.’
