Gill is yet to get six innings to overtake the South African veteran. Kohli needs 37 more runs to become the first player to score 14,000 runs in less than 300 innings. Only two other batsmen Sachin Tendulkar and Kumar Sangakkara have reached the figures of 14,000 runs in ODI cricket. Tendulkar achieved this feat in his 350th innings, while Sangakkara took 378 innings. Virat Kohli, who scored 529 runs in 13 matches of the Champions Trophy, has a chance to overtake Shikhar Dhawan as the highest run player in India in the history of the tournament. Dhawan has 701 runs in 10 matches right now, which means that Kohli will have to score 173 runs to take the lead.

All these 15 matches of the Champions Trophy will be played on 4 venue. There will be 3 venue in Pakistan. While a venue will remain Dubai. The Indian team will play all their matches in Dubai. If the Indian team qualify, the final will also be in Dubai. Otherwise, the title match will be played in Lahore on 9 March.
