The first batch of the Indian cricket team left for Dubai on Saturday afternoon to participate in the ICC Champions Trophy. During this, captain Rohit Sharma, star batsman Virat Kohli were captured in the media camera. According to the new rules of BCCI, the family of players did not appear with them.
BCCI’s new policy became an obstacle
According to the new rules, the Board of Control for Cricket in India does not allow families to go along with players on less than 45 days. The tournament, which runs from 19 February to 9 March, will run for three weeks. This means that families will not be present in Dubai to increase the enthusiasm of Main in Blues.
Will the players’ family not be seen in the tournament?
If the player still wants to take his family members along on the tour, then the player will have to bear all the expenses of the family members themselves. The BCCI will not bear the expenses of the player’s family members. Private employees (managers, agents and chefs) have also been banned, who used to travel with team and coaching staff earlier.

Then Rohit Sharma was also seen leaving a car and he was seen with fielding coach T Dileep.
India and Pakistan will clash on 23 February
The defending champion Pakistan will start the tournament against New Zealand in Karachi on 19 February. Pakistan’s last league match will be played against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi on 27 February. The league match between India and Pakistan will be played on 23 February (Sunday) in the Champions Trophy. The match will be played in Dubai. Apart from Pakistan, the other two teams in India’s group are Bangladesh and New Zealand. India will face Bangladesh on 20 February before Mahamukabale and the team will take on New Zealand on 2 March after confronting Pakistan. The second group consists of Afghanistan, Australia, England and South Africa. Apart from India’s sports, matches of both groups will be played in Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi.
What arrangement for semi -finals and finals?
Two semi -finals will be held on March 4 and March 5. Both have been reserved for the semi -finals. Reserve Day will also be provided in the finals to be held on March 9. The first semi -finals (if India reaches it) will be played in Dubai. If India does not qualify, then the match will be in Pakistan. A similar final will be played in Lahore. If India reaches the title match, it will be done in Dubai.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a prize money for the Champions Trophy on Friday. The global body of cricket has increased the prize money of 53 percent for this tournament compared to the last time. The winning team of the Champions Trophy starting on February 19 will get 2.4 million US dollars i.e. around Rs 19.5 crore.
Runners -up team will get Rs 9.72 crore
Apart from the winners, the runner -up team will get $ 1.12 million (about Rs 9.72 crore), while both teams out of the semi -finals will get $ 56000 (Rs 4.86 crore). The total prize money of this tournament has increased to $ 6.9 million (about 60 crores). ICC President Jai Shah said in a statement, the adequate prize money underlines the ICC’s commitment to invest in sports and maintain the global reputation of our events.
How many rupees will other teams get?
Any team will get a prize money of $ 34,000 (Rs 30 lakh) for winning the group stage. Teams, who finished fifth and sixth, will get $ 350000 (about three crore rupees), while the seventh and eighth -ranked teams will get $ 140000 (about Rs 1.2 crore). Apart from this, all eight teams will be given an amount of $ 125000 (about 1.08) crores to participate in this ICC tournament.
