In the urban body elections of Chhattisgarh, the BJP has won the victory. In 10 municipal corporations of 10, the BJP has defeated the Congress and captured the chair of the mayor. The Congress fort has been demolished after 15 years in Raipur. Here BJP mayor candidate Meenal Choubey has registered the biggest win. He has defeated Congress candidate Deepti Dubey by about one lakh 46 thousand votes.
Please tell that on February 11, voting was done in 10 municipal corporations. These include Ambikapur, Korba, Chirmiri, Jagdalpur, Durg, Dhamtari, Bilaspur, Rajnandgaon, Raigad and Raipur Municipal Corporations. In this election, 79 candidates of Mayor were on the field.
