The encroachment of the famous Motinagar township of Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, will now be removed by the administration after the Global Investors Summit (GIS) going to the city. The administration has given a 15 -day ultimatum to the residents of Motinagar Basti. After 15 days of residents got 15 days and now they can remove their possession from the respective place during this period. However, information has also come to light that residents of Motinagar Basti have rejected the notice sent by the administration.
Let me tell you that Motinagar township was built by encroaching on the land of railway and BDA. The Motinagar township will break after the city’s Bhadbhada township. Construction of the fourth line of the railway from Moti Nagar area and the third leg of Subhash over bridge has been proposed. These second major action is being taken by the administration to remove slums before construction.
Construction will start after action
Residents went to court for the case. The court was relieved for a few days. After that action was initiated. In 110 houses, some sabotage action has been taken. The encroachment has been removed by the administration through bulldozers. In some parts, houses are yet to be removed. Construction work will begin after removing the encroachment.
People are removing the debris of shops
Most of the goods here have already been removed after breaking the shops. The shops whose debris was left is also being removed. People are breaking the walls at their level and removing brick and parts. On the walls of the shops where there are houses, people have written with color spray, paint, this is the wall of the house.
Not only this, some people have put the print out and put pamphlets. Seeing the attitude of the administration, now the protesting people have made up their mind to vacate the house. However, they are demanding displacement.
