Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla said that registration of 100 percent pregnant women in the state should be ensured and high-risk pregnancy should be identified on time through prenatal investigation. He directed that availability of all necessary health facilities is necessary to ensure safe delivery. So that maternal and infant mortality can be improved. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla conducted a large review of service supply and recruitment process for empowerment of health services in the ministry.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that the government is constantly trying to improve health standards in the state. Modern medical infrastructure, state -of -the -art equipment and adequate availability of trained health workers are necessary to operate health services smoothly. He said that the state government is making unprecedented efforts in this direction. Large -scale recruitment is going on in the health department for the increase of human resources, making health services more effective. He directed that all recruitment processes be completed in a timely manner, so that the benefits of medical facilities reach the common man rapidly.
It was informed in the meeting that the recruitment process in various categories in the state is in progress. In the medical category, 3,689 posts are being recruited by Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. The recruitment process for 5,762 posts in the nursing category is under process. Under paramedical and technical staff, 454 lab technicians, 114 radiographers, 21 physiotherapists and 8 counselors are being filled through the Employees Selection Board. Apart from this, a demand letter has also been sent to meet 1,744 direct recruitment posts. Director Public Health and Medical Education Shri Dinesh Srivastava, Director Public Health and Medical Education Nursing and Paramedical Mr. Manoj Sariyam and other senior officials were present.
