Bharat Bhavan has a major role in getting Madhya Pradesh the identity of the venue of Kala Gaurav in the world. We are all witnesses of a glorious past of Bharat Bhavan. Today, we are very proud to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Bharat Bhavan. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was addressing the State Shikhar Samman ceremony from Muktakash Manch of Bharat Bhavan on Thursday. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave a new identity to the cultural heritage of Madhya Pradesh and awarded the state summit of 2022 and 2023. On this occasion, 15 art mystics were decorated with shawls, quince, honor plaque and two lakh rupees for their highly special contribution. In the ceremony, artists, litterateurs and color workers who contributed to the fields of music, dance, drama, tribal and folk art, literature and theater were honored with Shikhar Samman.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while wishing all the art personalities honored with the State Shikhar Samman, said that the government is constantly trying to carry forward the cultural heritage of Madhya Pradesh. Artists are the soul of our society and their respect is our priority. We ourselves are honored by the honor of art. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav made an important announcement to resume the theater here, making the 43rd Foundation Day of Bharat Bhavan special. The Chief Minister said that the return of the theater will bring a new enjoyment not only theater, but for the whole art world. This announcement of the Chief Minister was welcomed by all theater lovers and artists and the return of the theater is no less than a celebration for them. The theater of Bharat Bhavan was a major platform for the color workers and drama lovers of the state for years, now it is going to come alive again. Its return will provide new opportunities to young painters and the theater will also get a new energy. Restoration of the theater will make the cultural heritage of the state even more rich.
Minister of State for Culture, Tourism, Religious Trust and Religion (Independent Charge) Dharmendra Singh Lodhi said that Bharat Bhavan has been the center of our art faith. Through this building, Madhya Pradesh is not only cherishing its roots with the Renaissance of art and culture, but also strengthening the future new art generation. He greeted all the respected personalities.
Vamana Kendre, the trustee president of Bharat Bhavan, said that Bharat Bhavan is a confluence of all art genres. Various art and cultural activities have been conducted from here for centuries. The role of Bharat Bhavan in granting Bhopal the status of the country’s major cultural center has been commendable.

Director Culture N.P. Namdev read the commendation of all the art mystics to be honored with the Rajya Shikhar Samman. At the end of the program, the Chief Minister also visited the art exhibition organized in the Bharat Bhavan campus.
In 9 genres, 15 art mystics get state summit
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav provided the state summit of 2022 and 2023 to 15 art mystics who excelled in various fields. At the ceremony, Dr. Urmila Shirish (Bhopal) was awarded the summit of 2022 for Hindi literature. Mahmud Ahmed Sahar (Ujjain) was awarded the summit of 2023 for Urdu literature. Dr. Mithila Prasad Tripathi (Indore) was given the summary of 2022 for Sanskrit literature and Dr. Govind Dattatreya Gandhe (Ujjain) was given the summit of 2023 for Sanskrit literature.
In this sequence, Vidushi Kalpana Jhokkar (Indore) was given the summary of 2022 for scripture music and Vidushi Shashwati Mandal (Delhi) was given the summit of 2023 for classical music. Sumohini Moghe Askwale (Jabalpur) was honored for the scripture dance of 2022 and Vidushi Bharti Homebalbal (Bhopal) was honored with the summit of 2023 for the scripture dance. In the Rupankar arts category, Ishwari Rawal (Indore) was given the summary of 2022 and Hari Bhatnagar (Jabalpur) in the same category. Shriram Jog (Indore) was given the summary of the year 2022 for theatrical art and the summary of Satish Dave (Ujjain) in the same art cadre. Ramsingh Urveti (Patangarh) in the tribal and folk arts category was decorated in the year 2022 and Kailash Sisodia (Dhar) in the same category was decorated with the state summit of 2023. Pandit Sunil Pavgi (Gwalior) was decorated with the summit of 2023 in the rare instrumental category.
