At least 10 people were killed and six others were injured when a truck carrying coal mines carrying coal mines carrying coal mine workers on Friday in Harnai area of Balochistan. According to the statement, evidence is being collected and initial investigation shows that the explosive material was kept on the roadside. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti condemned the incident and expressed grief over the death of the people. He directed that the injured workers should be provided the best medical facilities.
The Chief Minister said, “Terrorists who target innocent citizens are not entitled to any kind of apology and strict action will continue against the elements damaging Balochistan’s peace.” Bugti said that the intentions of the enemies of peace will not be allowed to succeed under any circumstances. The terrorists involved in this incident will soon be brought into the dock of justice.
Bugti said that the Government of Balochistan is taking all possible steps to protect the lives and property of the people. Balochistan is the largest province in Pakistan. It is considered to be ground-economic and geopolitically very important, yet it remains disturbed. Recently, at least 18 soldiers of the Frontier Corps (FC) of Pakistan died during an operation in Mangochar city located in Kalat district of Balochistan. Pakistan’s military officials gave this information on Saturday.
“On the night of 31 January/1 February, terrorists tried to block the road to the road in Balochistan’s Kalat district,” said in a statement issued by the Pakistani Army media branch Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
