The results of the urban body elections held on 11 February in Chhattisgarh will be declared tomorrow. Regarding the result of the election, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw has claimed that the BJP will win most of the seats. He said that the BJP has taken the election seriously and presented the ‘Atal Vishwas Patra’ to the public. He said that our government has worked with commitment to urban bodies in 13 months. Nomination rally, workers’ conference and road show showed tremendous enthusiasm of the public, the results of the election will be in favor of the BJP. Along with this, Arun Saw made a statement on other issues including the budget session.
Congress issue devoid – Arun Saw
The Deputy Chief Minister said about the assembly budget session starting on February 24 that the government is ready to answer every question. Targeting the Congress, he said that the Congress is devoid of issue. There have been big cases, who has a hand in it. The public knows this. Everyone knows the intention of the Congress. Despite being in power, he did the same and now he is doing the same by staying in opposition. Referring to the robbery incident in Raipur, he said that the police have taken immediate action and the culprits will not be spared. Concrete action is being taken.
Statements on Congress allegations on delimitation
On the continuous allegations made by the Congress regarding delimitation, Arun Saw said that there were many petitions about it, which were rejected. He said that the delimitation has happened according to the rules, but the Congress is making excuses for defeat and is making the role of bursting on EVMs. He said that this time also the results of 173 civic elections will come like the Assembly, Lok Sabha and Raipur South by -election. He also expressed satisfaction about a large number of voting of women, but in some places the number of women voters has decreased, which has been considered to consider.
