New Delhi
The Supreme Court has expressed his displeasure over free schemes before the election. The apex court says that people are not ready to work because of Freebies. The court was hearing the case related to the homeless in urban areas on Wednesday. Currently, the hearing on the case has been postponed for 6 weeks.

In the apex court, Justice BR Gavai and Justice Augustine George Christ were hearing the homeless case related to the rights of the house in urban areas. Justice Gawai said, ‘Unfortunately, due to these free facilities… people are not ready to work. They are getting free ration. They are getting funds without doing any work.

The bench said, “We understand your concern towards them, but will it not be better to join the mainstream of society and they too get an opportunity to contribute to the development of the country.” Attorney General R. Venkatarmani told the bench that the central government is in the process of finalizing the urban poverty alleviation mission, under which various issues will be resolved, including the arrangement of shelter for the homeless in urban areas. The bench directed the Attorney General to ask the central government to ask the central government how long the urban poverty alleviation mission will be implemented.
