The first major action to widen the road here when a school coming on the way was removed from the route. Now preparations are being made to shift the shrine. Roads across the city are to be widened in which more than 50 shrines will be affected. Such shrines will also be retreated to widen the roads. This exercise is being done for Simhastha i.e. Kumbh Mela held in 2028 in Ujjain. According to officials, the increased part of the shrine will be removed or can be shifted somewhere else.

The first major action has been taken in the work of road construction and widening in Ujjain. A government school coming on the route from Kothi Road Road towards Udyogpuri has been shifted. With this, the exercise to break the school has started. At the same time, action will also be taken to follow a shrine coming on the way.

The road is being widened by the Municipal Corporation near the administrative complex building. The corporation has also started this work. On the way, the building of Government Primary School Kothi Road and a dharmasthal are also coming in front of it. It is not possible to widen the road without removing both. Therefore, taking the first action, the action has been initiated to remove the government school.

Collector Neerajkumar Singh has issued orders to shift to the Government Primary School Gandhinagar, removing the government school. After the order of the collector, the action has also been started by the corporation to break the school building. In the next days, action will also be taken to back down the shrine coming on the way.

It is said that a decision will be taken in a day or two about the shrine coming on the way. The corporation and administrative officials have also discussed with the stake holder associated with the shrine. Officials are telling that more has been constructed than the shrine. In such a situation, the increased part of the shrine will be removed or can be shifted somewhere else.

52 shrines will be affected
About 52 shrines in the route will be affected in the work of widening the road of the city. In this, 19 Dharmasthals from the train base to the exit intersection and KD Gate via Badi Pulia, 10 from Khajurwali Mosque to Jeevajiganj police station to Ganesh Chowk, 10 from VD Cloth Market to Danigate to Chhoti Pulia, 11 to Chhoti Pulia, 11th to Gopal Temple via Satigate to Gopal Temple. , From exit intersection to Kanthal intersection, 02 and 5 Dharmasthals from Gada Pulia to Ravi Shankar Nagar to Lalpul. In the next days, the administrative officer will discuss with the stake holder and take appropriate decisions.

Municipal Corporation Executive Engineer Piyush Bhargava says that the government school coming on the route being widening on Kothi Road is being broken. The order has been issued by the Collector to shift it. Dharmasthal is also being discussed.
