Damani defeated Advani in the group phase but in the final he could not retain his rhythm against this experienced player. After winning the championship, Advani said, it was the only competition on which Indian representatives will be selected to participate in international competitions. Therefore, there was a lot of claim in this competition. It looks great by winning the gold medal here. At one time in the competition, I was on the verge of being out. Then I came to know that this important moment should mean something big. I am happy to get a chance to represent India again in both billiards and snooker.
