Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday met Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray at his residence. This is the first meeting of Devendra Fadnavis after becoming the Chief Minister with Raj Thackeray.
However, it is not known what the conversation took place between the two leaders? There is a possibility that Raj Thackeray and BJP may come together in local elections.
According to media reports, according to Prasad Lad, a member of the BJP Legislative Council, Raj Thackeray invited CM Fadnavis at his residence near Shivaji Park in Dadar area of Mumbai. However, Lad did not give any more information about the meeting.
It may be noted that after the results of Maharashtra assembly elections, Raj Thackeray also questioned EVMs. Whereas, he supported BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. However, Raj Thackeray’s party fielded candidates in the Maharashtra assembly elections. No candidate of his party had won the election.
