The delegation of the Parliamentary Committee of Foreign Affairs of Poland met Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai at his residence office here today. Chief Minister Shri Sai welcomed the delegation to Chhattisgarh and presented him with a symbol of Bastar Art and a state pot. The Chief Minister discussed the delegation about economic investment in the state by informing the delegation about the rich cultural heritage of Chhattisgarh, mineral reserves, forest wealth and tourism. The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh is fast on the path of economic development. Our doors are open to investors, industries are being provided all kinds of facilities here. The Chief Minister also invited investors from other European countries including Poland for industrial investment in Chhattisgarh. Poland’s parliamentary party was greatly influenced by information about the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of Chhattisgarh.

Mr. Powel Koval, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs of Poland, said that he liked coming to Chhattisgarh. He went to Purkhuti Muktangan yesterday, where a glimpse of the culture of Chhattisgarh was seen. Last year, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi visited Poland. After about 45 years, an Indian Prime Minister came to Poland. After this visit, Poland and India have strengthened relations. In this connection, we are traveling to different states of India. There is a lot of potential for mutual cooperation between Chhattisgarh and Poland. In this context, this journey to Chhattisgarh is very important for us. He thanked everyone for the intimate reception of the party in Chhattisgarh.

The Chief Minister said during a discussion with the delegation that last year Prime Minister Shri Modi visited Poland. It was an Indian Prime Minister’s visit to Poland after 45 years. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is establishing good relations with all countries. It is very happy that the Parliamentary Committee of Foreign Affairs of Poland has shown interest in investment prospects by visiting Chhattisgarh. We welcome you all in the kingdom. Poland’s investors who want to invest economic in Chhattisgarh will provide all kinds of cooperation and convenience to them.

Giving information about Chhattisgarh to the delegation, the Chief Minister said that after the creation of the state, Chhattisgarh has made unprecedented progress in the 25 -year journey so far. Chhattisgarh is the ninth largest state in the country. Chhattisgarh is making a significant contribution in the development of the country. There is abundant mineral reserves and forest wealth here. Mr. Rajat Kumar, Secretary, Department of Industries, gave information about the new industrial policy implemented in the state. During this time, the infrastructure and cultural heritage of Chhattisgarh and a brief power point presentation on tourism were given.
