Chinese AI Chatbot Deepsek AI is planned to ban the US. Also, if Deepsek is used despite the ban, then those who do so can be sent to jail with fines. According to the Wall Street General’s report, some American senators are planning to introduce a bill to ban Chinese AI chatbot.
Heavy fines and punishment for use of Deepseek AI
According to the report of The Independent, if someone is found to be using deep after the implementation of this bill, individuals who do so can be fined $ 6.5 crore. The same rule can be jailed up to 20 years on violation. If Deepsek is used for business, then a fine of $ 100 million can be fined around 8 billion.
Why is the ban on Deepsek being imposed?
The bill has been proposed by Republican Senator Josh Hawley. The government believes that the data of the deputy US citizens can reach the Chinese government. Senator Haley had expressed concern about the safety and privacy of Deepseek AI.
Ban has been done in many countries before
If the US bans Deepsek, it will not be the first country to do so. Earlier, Italy has been banned in the US state of Texas, Taiwan and Australia. If we talk about India, IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said that Deepseek will soon be hosted on the servers of India, so that privacy will not be tension.
