In Kolhapur, Maharashtra, 250 people fell ill after eating prasad. After eating Kheer divided at the fair, all food became victims of poisoning. About 50 people started complaining of diarrhea, nausea and fever since morning. So far, information about 255 people getting sick has been revealed. According to the information, a fair was organized in Shivnakwadi village in Kolhapur district of Maharashtra. In the fair, the milk made of milk ‘Kheer’ was distributed as ‘Prasad’. After eating the prasad, all the people started complaining of diarrhea, nausea and fever from Wednesday morning.
Regarding the case, an official of the Kurundawad police station said that at present about 50 people are being treated in the hospital in Shirol and the condition of all is said to be stable. An official claimed that most of the sick people had ate ‘Kheer’ in the fair. However, there were also food stalls. At present, more than 50 people are undergoing treatment in the hospital. While others have been discharged. The condition of all the patients hospitalized is normal. Samples of food items from the fair have been sent to the forensic laboratory for examination. Whether or not there was poisoning in Prasad, it will be known only after the report. At the same time, people around have come in panic due to this blow.
