In the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Tuesday, the Madhya Pradesh Drone Promotion and Use Policy-2025 has been approved. Drone technology will allow the exact status of the fields to be evaluated, which will increase the production of crops. Disease, pests and environmental effects in crops can be identified quickly. This will lead to efficient use of water, increase in water conservation and reduce irrigation costs. Drone will improve agricultural productivity and quality of crops. Farmers will get the benefit of new agricultural practices from drone technology.
