In an Anganwadi center, the video of a child seeking biryani and chicken fry is going viral on social media instead of Upma. It is now reported that the Kerala government has also noticed this video. The possibility is being expressed that changes can be made in the dishes or menu list of such child care centers.
State Health, Women and Child Welfare Minister Veena George shared a video of a child named Shank on her ‘Facebook’ page, in which she is making such a request. He said that the dish list of Anganwadi will be changed. He said that the child has made this request in innocence and it is being considered. Giving heartfelt greetings to the cone, his mother and Anganwadi employees, the minister said, “The consonant list will be reviewed keeping in mind the suggestion of the cone.” George said that N variety of foods are provided through Anganwadis to ensure nutritious food to children.
In the video, the child wearing a hat can be heard innocently saying to his mother, ‘I want’ Biranani ‘(Biryani) and’ Poricha Kozhi ‘(chicken fry) in place of Upma in Anganwadi.’
His mother said that while eating biryani at home, he made this video and then posted it on the social media forum ‘Instagram’ after which it broadcast widely.
