The state government gave more attention to the Ladli Bahna Yojana in the budget of 2024. Now in the budget of 2025, it is also believed that the budget of sisters will be increased. If this happens, the amount of monthly installment received by Ladli sisters can increase. Let us tell you, the Ladli Bahna Yojana was started in March 2023 by the then CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan. In which the sisters were given assistance of 1 thousand rupees. After this, the amount was increased to Rs 1250 on Rakshabandhan. Since then, the amount has not been increased.

However, one of the reasons for not increasing the installment of Ladli Bahna Yojana is also a debt burden. The government is more than five percent of the country’s total outstanding debt. The government needs Rs 1600 crore every month to run the Ladli Bahna Yojana. Now it will be interesting to see how many rupees the government provides for the Ladli Bahna scheme in the budget of 2025.
