The charismatic fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was selected for the Poly Umrigar Award of the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) for the best international cricketer of 2023-24 in the men’s category while Smriti Mandhana won the award in the women’s category.

Bumrah was elected the Test of the International Cricket Council (ICC) to perform brilliantly in 2024 with skills, accuracy and continuity. He performed brilliantly for India last year and played an important role in winning India’s domestic series against England and Bangladesh.

The 31-year-old fast bowler was the best player of the series against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and took 32 wickets in the five Tests. ICC’s best female ODI cricketer Mandhana scored 743 runs in 2024.

He scored four ODI centuries, which holds the record of the highest century in the format of women in a year. He set over a hundred boundaries last year, including 95 fours and six sixes. The 28 -year -old cricketer scored an average of 57.86 in the ODI matches and an impressive strike rate of 95.15.
