Cabinet approves National Important Mineral Mission, will invest Rs 34,300 crore


New Delhi

The Government of India has approved the National Critical Mission ‘with a outlay of Rs 34,300 crore, which is to prepare a range of searching, mining and processing prices in the country. The cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved the launch of this mission, which is an important part of the self -reliant India initiative.

The special objective of this mission is to ensure the presence of the essential minors used in clean energy, high advanced industry and defense. This includes discovery, mining, beneficial, and processing within the country and in offshore areas.

Farmers will bat

Investment and financial help
There is a plan to bring government expenditure of Rs 16,300 crore and public undertaking of Rs 18,000 crore for this mission and investment coming from private sector. It will also create a fast track regulatory approval process for mineral projects and will provide financial help for investigation.

Acquisition of foreign mineral property
Mission will encourage Indian public undertaking and private companies to acquire mineral property abroad, so that it is ensured to maintain the supply of important minerals for India. Also, mineral processing parks will also promote and promote recycling.
