On the occasion of ‘Mahakumbh’ organized in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, a Kumbh special train will be run from Chhattisgarh to Prayagraj for the convenience of devotees. This train will be available for a trip for a unilateral round on Tuesday evening. This special train will be 14 coaches. And its stoppage will be given in Uslapur, Pendrarod, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Katni, Maihar and Satna stations. Time tables and other details of this vehicle will be given soon. The Mahakumbh Mela has started in 2025 Prayagraj from 13 January. So far, two royal baths have taken place, while four dates are still left. In such a situation, during the Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj, the railway has provided the facility of five Kumbh Mela special trains to provide maximum confirmed berths to the devotees. In this, these special trains will make four rounds between the fort and cutting.
Know the remaining four royal bath dates
The third royal bath will be taken on Mauni Amavasya on Wednesday, 29 January. A large number of devotees will arrive on this day.
The fourth royal bath will be taken on the auspicious time of Basant Panchami on Monday, 3 February 2025.
After this, the fifth royal bath will be taken on Maghi Purnima on Wednesday, 12 February 2025.
Mahakumbh will also end with the sixth royal bath on Mahashivaratri on 26 February 2025.

According to the information received from the railway division, train number 08761/08762 Durg-Katni-Durg Kumbh Mela Special Train will run on 31 January, 5 and 28 February. Train number 08793/08794 Durg-Katni-Durg Kumbh Mela Special Train will run on 14 February. This train has 22 coaches including one AC Two, one AC three, 14 sleepers, four generals and two SLRs, RD.
Three Kumbh special train will run from Bilaspur
Apart from this, the Railways has decided to run Kumbh Mela Special from Durg to Varanasi. Train number 08791/08792 Durg-Varanasi-Durg Kumbh Mela will depart from Varanasi on Saturday, February 8 and Monday 10 February.
Railway officials said that train number 08253/08254 Bilaspur-Varanasi-Bilaspur Kumbh Mela special train will leave from Bilaspur on Saturday 22 February and Varanasi on Monday 24 February. Train number 08795 Durg-Tundla Kumbh Mela Special Train will run from Durg to Tundla on 15 February.
Similarly, in the opposite direction, this train number 08796 Tundla-Durg Kumbh Mela Special Train will run from Tundla to Durg on 17 February. Apart from these trains, 30 trains passing through South East Central Railway have also provided confirmed berths to the devotees going to the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj.
Durg-Hazrat Nizamuddin Humsafar X. Additional AC Three Coach in
The railway has temporarily provided an additional AC three coach facility in the fort-Hazrat Nizamuddin-Durg Humsafar Express running through South East Central Railway to provide better convenience to passengers and confirmed berths to more passengers.
According to officials, this facility will be available in train number 22867 Durg-Hazrat Nizamuddin Humsafar Express on 28 January and train number 22868 on January 29.
