Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India is emerging as a new global economic power with a sense of world bond. Japan is historically associated with the tradition of Gautam Buddha and India is the land of Gautama Buddha. India and Japan have had a mutual relationship for centuries. Japan has a rich history from ancient times to the modern era. While saluting the entrepreneurship shown by Japan in recovering from disastrous earthquakes and natural disasters, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Japan has made a special identity in the world with this livelihood. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was interacting with industrialists on the occasion of the show interactive session on “Investment Employees in Madhya Pradesh” held at the Indian Embassy in Japan. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has said that this journey will begin a new chapter in the friendship of Madhya Pradesh-Japan.
Professional relations of Madhya Pradesh are related to Japan
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Japan is an important achievement in economic prosperity based on its specific lifestyle and industrial style. It is a matter of happiness and pride that Madhya Pradesh’s commercial relations are also associated with Japan. In the year 2023-24, Japan was exported to Japan from Madhya Pradesh to $ 92.8 million, including aluminum-made items, organic chemicals, nuclear reactors, boilers, mechanical equipment, pharmaceutical products and other machinery. Japan also has manufacturing and other fields associated with other fields. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav invited Japan’s industry groups to invest in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav thanked India’s Ambassador to Japan for the role of Shri Sibi George for connecting with business houses.
Industries groups of India and abroad have increased interest in Madhya Pradesh due to industry friendly policies.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is the second largest state in India in terms of area with a population of more than 9 crores. The economy of the state has increased three times in a decade, it is our government’s goal to double the economy in the next five years. Capital expenditure and government expenditure has increased by 19 percent in the last one year, which signifies the progress of our state. In the last five years, the state has made special efforts towards export, resulting in export of 65 thousand crores in the year 2023-24. Energy, mining, education, MSME Industry friendly policies are being implemented in all major areas including, resulting in a favorable environment for investment in Madhya Pradesh in the country, as well as interest of industry groups in the world has also increased in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that even if there is a need for the expansion of investment and industrial activities, the government will make changes in policies for the convenience of investors.
Sector -centered policies are attracting investors
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Food Parks, IT Parks, Plastic Park, Medical Device Park, Solar Equipment Park, Foot Wear Park, EV Park, Textile Park, Garment Park, Plug and Play Zone, Seemicunder Park etc. are similar in Madhya Pradesh There is a possibility in form. Special policies focused on sectors of the state government’s garment, laosestics, EV, food processing, ethanol, IT, pharma, medical devices etc. are attracting investors. Madhya Pradesh is called food basket, it has many sectors connected to which encouragement is being provided from all sides to increase the related business activities.
There are big possibilities in the skill upgradation field
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is launching the Global Investors Summit to be held in Bhopal, the state capital on 24-25 February 2025. This summit will have seminars focused on all important sectors and will discuss the possibilities of investment. Especially in the field of skill upgradation, there are great possibilities in the state. Along with a large number of youth power, there are many institutions like ITI, Engineering College, Polytechnic in the state. Japan and Madhya Pradesh can do important tasks in this region. Engineering colleges, medical colleges, health institutions including 52 and 17 government universities in the private sector are present in the state. Cooperation in these areas will be beneficial for both longer. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed confidence that Japan and Madhya Pradesh will be on the path of progress as a trusted partner on the path of progress.
Tokyo Governor Ms. Yuriko Koike met Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Tokyo Governor Ms. Yuriko Koike met Chief Minister Dr. Yadav during his visit to Japan. The Chief Minister described the meeting with Ms. Koaike as encouraging for mutual cooperation in the field of development in the future. Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, there has been an atmosphere of cooperative compatibility between Japan and India. This has made Japan’s attitude collaborative with Madhya Pradesh and there is a big possibility of infinite development in future. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that subjects like Governor Ms. Koike were discussed with industry, technology, investment employment and collaboration in the field of mutual study and research in the soul. He said that Ms. Koek has invited for the conference of proposed start-up companies in May 2025 Tokyo. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also invited Governor Ms. Koek for the Global Investors Summit held on 24-25 February 2025 in Bhopal.
Discussion about investment in Madhya Pradesh with senior Toyota officials in Japan
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a meeting with senior officials of Toyota Motor Corporation on the first day of Japan. He discussed intensively on investment opportunities of business prospects with Shri Toshiyuki Nakahara General Manager, Administration and Support Department, India and Middle East Division and Middle East Division and Mr. Mashelo Naogi Project General Manager, Administration and Support Department, India and Middle East Division.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav made Madhya Pradesh aware of the main features of the state, stating an ideal destination for investment. He said that Madhya Pradesh is located in the center of India, which forms an ideal focal point for North, South, East and West. We have a huge industrial land bank, skilled youth work force and excellent infrastructure. Pithampur Automobile Cluster is a rapidly emerging industrial center, especially, which has brought immense possibilities for global investors.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while emphasizing the peaceful and disassemble situation of the state, said that Madhya Pradesh is famous for peace and stability like Japan. The state is protected from natural disasters, which makes it even more favorable for investment. The simple and hard -working people here provide an excellent environment to industries with a commitment to technical skills and business.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav invited Toyota to invest in Madhya Pradesh and especially emphasized the possibilities for training and empowerment of youth in technical jobs. He said that Madhya Pradesh is an ideal place for establishing its facilities and business expansion for Toyota. Our industry policies are helpful in investment promotion and land availability and attracting global companies. Toyota officials appreciated Madhya Pradesh’s industrial environment and investment-friendly atmosphere and expressed their commitment to partnership with the state.
This visit of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is a major part of the ‘Invest in Madhya Pradesh’ campaign, which is paving the way for the ‘Global Investors Summit 2025’ to be held in Bhopal in February 2025. This meeting is another strong step towards empowering economic cooperation between India and Japan and setting up Madhya Pradesh as a global investment center.

The Chief Minister invited Japanese industrialists to participate in “Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investors Summit-2025”.
