Farmers get agricultural loan of Rs 445 crore for rabi crop

In Chhattisgarh, various Rabi crops including gram, wheat, peas, linseed, mustard, maize, ragi have been sown in Chhattisgarh, which is 91 percent of the total sowing. The agriculture department officials said that the Rabi like a kharif season Provision for short -term agricultural loans has also been made for the season. Till now farmers have been provided loan amount of Rs 445 crore to farmers for Rabi crops. This year, a target of distribution of 2.89 lakh quintal certified seeds has been set for Rabi crop, with 1.54 lakh quintal seeds distributed by storage of 1.73 lakh quintal seeds, which is 90 percent of storage.
Similarly, against the target of distributing 4.65 lakh metric tonnes of fertilizer in the state for Rabi crop, so far, 6.27 lakh metric tonnes of fertilizers have been stored and distributed 2.77 lakh metric tonnes of fertilizers, which is 44 percent of the total storage.
