38th National Sports: Maharashtra won gold medal in Triathalon Mixed Relay

The 38th National Games have started in Uttarakhand. The Triathalon Mixed Relay was held today at the Indira Gandhi International Stadium in Gaulapar in Haldwani. Maharashtra performed brilliantly in this thrilling match at Manaskhand Paranal in Gaulapar and secured first place.

In the Maharashtra team, Partha Sachin Miraje, Dolly Dewidas Patil, Kaushik Vinay Malandkar and Mansi Vinod Mohite took a time of 02:12:06 and captured the gold medal showing excellent coordination. The Madhya Pradesh team also gave a tough challenge and won the silver medal while finishing at the second place, taking a time of 02:12:41. The team included Ankur Chahar, Durvisha Pawar, Roshan Gond and Adhya Singh.

The Tamil Nadu team won the bronze medal with the time of 02:14:08. His team was attended by Akash Perumalsamy, Kirti S, Sai Lohitaksha KD and Aarti S. Expressing happiness over their victory, the Maharashtra team said, “This was the first time we swimmed in hot water, which was a very different experience for us.” Aspiration events are usually in the sea, pool, or open water, so it was a new and memorable experience for us.

On the other hand, Maharashtra player Mansi Vinod Mohite said, “We trust regular practice and our coach’s unwavering support is always with us.” Earlier, Partha Sachin Miraje of Maharashtra and Dolly Devidas Patil won the gold medal and Mansi Vinod Mohite won the silver medal in individual Triathlon. While Adhya Singh of Madhya Pradesh won a bronze medal.
