Subhanya will wave India in the fencing championship to be held in Kuwait from 19 to 28 February

Jammu and Kashmir young swordsman Subhanya Sharma has been selected to represent India in the Asian Junior and Cadet Floor Championships to be held in Kuwait from 19 to 28 February. The 19th Cadet National Fencing Championship organized by the Fencing Association of India; B&G has been selected for this prestigious event based on his outstanding performance during 2024-2025.

The competition was held from 8 to 11 January 2025 in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand. In this, he won a personal bronze medal in the Seber competition. The team for the said National Championship was played under the banner of the Jammu and Kashmir Fencing Association and was approved by the screening committee of Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council.

For the Asian Junior and Cadet Fencing Championships, the Indian team has been approved by the Indian Sports Authority as full cost to the government. Nujat Gul, Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, has congratulated Pheesars and has greeted his parents for this achievement and wished him best for the competition.

International Faesar International Qualified Referee Rashid Ahmed Chaudhary and Advocate Supriya Chauhan and Maninder Pal Singh described it as a glorious moment and wished Subhanya for the prestigious event and hoped that Faur would make the country proud on the international stage.

Subhanya is a student of former International Faur Sher-e-Kashmir Award winner Ujjwal Gupta
It is noteworthy that Subhanya Sharma is a student of former International Faur, State Award winner and Sher-e-Kashmir Award winner Ujjwal Gupta. Those who are employed in the Department of Youth Services and Sports, who have prepared more than 10 international falses from Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, J&K Fencing Association; JKFA President Vijay Kumar congratulated Fhansar for this achievement and wished Phoesar for future assignments.
