After the crushing defeat in the assembly elections in Maharashtra, the existence of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is under threat. In the political corridors, a number of speculations are being made about Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena (UBT) and Sharad Pawar led by NCP (SP). In the midst of all this, Uddhav Thackeray while interacting with the workers indicated that his party may enter the electoral fray alone in the upcoming local body elections. At the same time, his close Sanjay Raut has said that Maharashtra will soon get a third deputy CM. Reacting to the criticism of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) defeat by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the assembly elections, Uddhav Thackeray said, “No one should try to tamper with our party.” He challenged the BJP and said, “BJP should hold at least one election with ballot paper.”
Maharashtra will soon get third deputy CM
At the same time, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut, who has been in the news for his statements, claimed that Maharashtra will soon get the third Deputy Chief Minister and will be from the Shiv Sena-Shinde faction. He said, “power keeps on coming and going, but we are standing firmly here.” Addressing the party workers on the occasion of the 99th birth anniversary of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray, Thackeray said, “I organized the program to know how many people are with me. As long as you are Shiv Sainik, I will be your party president. We will teach traitors what is their place. ”
Thackeray also said that if someone accused him of abandoning Balasaheb Thackeray’s principles, he will leave the post. He indicated about the future of the party and said that if the workers want, the party will contest elections alone and he asked to take this decision according to the wishes of the workers.
Uddhav Thackeray termed BJP’s Hindutva as fake and said that Shiv Sena (UBT) follows progressive and nationalist Hindutva. He questioned the progress of its construction even after a year of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram temple and said that its construction has not been completed yet. Let us tell you that the local body elections are likely to be held early this year.
