Hundreds of students and their parents have been in trouble due to sudden closure of many FITJEE coaching centers in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, MP and Delhi. According to reports, at least 8 Fitji Coaching Center has been locked in North India since last week. Students studying here are in anger due to the closure of the coaching center between the engineering entrance exam JEE Main and before the board examinations. Angry students and parents have filed a police complaint demanding refund of fees. These students preparing for Engineering Entrance Examination JEE Main had deposited advance fees of Rs 4 to 5 lakh.

Officials said that due to lack of salary, many teachers quit the job together after which it was decided to close the coaching center. The administrative head of a branch of Fitji said on the condition of anonymity, ‘The economic conditions in the institute were bad for a long time, the salary was not available on time. In such a situation, many teachers also got offers from other places and people joined the job there.

Branch of Fitji Coaching Center closed here
Branches have been closed in cities like Fitji Coaching Center in Noida, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Varanasi, Patna, Meerut and Bhopal. A branch of Fitji has recently closed in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. According to officials, the administration of the center initially tried to arrange teachers from Noida but it lasted only for a few days. After this, he had to close the institute. Several parents have lodged a police complaint alleging that the private coaching institute did not give them any notice and did not return their money. There are many videos and photos on the internet in which parents are shown protesting outside the institute’s now closed branch.

The guardian of a student studying at Fitji Institute in Meerut said, “Many Fitji coaching institutes were closed in some states about six months ago. After this he told us that these coaching centers will not be closed. These centers are in profit and keep paying fees. I have already paid a fee of Rs 6 lakh. He took everyone’s money and told us that classes will continue. Even when the teachers left, he said that we will still work. Talking to the media, the parents said that the children’s confidence has reduced due to the sudden closure of the coaching institutes between examinations. They are studying 18–18 hours. According to the report, Fitji Coaching Branch at Kalu Sarai near IIT Delhi has also been closed. It is being told that the teachers here were not getting salary, so classes were interrupted after leaving their jobs.

HT also reached Fitji Head Office at Kalu Sarai in Delhi. However, security guards said that the management staff had not come to the center for five days. Apart from this, no response was received till the calls made on the phone numbers given on Fitji’s website and the email sent on its official mail ID. The branch of Laxmi Nagar in Delhi is also locked.

Case filed in Patna too
In Patna, students allege that Fitji closed the coaching center with a hefty fee. Angry students have lodged their complaint at the Kotwali police station in Patna. A case has been registered against Fitji Director DK Goel, CFO Manish Anand, Center Head Rajiv Babbar and RK Thakur in the police station. A case of fraud has been registered against all of them.

Noida
On Thursday, a police officer from Noida said that several branches of the coaching center have been closed. He said that the reason behind this is that the institute is implicated in financial crisis and violation of licensing and fire safety rules. Parents created a ruckus at the Fitji Coaching Center in Sector-62 late Wednesday evening. Parents allege that the coaching center operator has escaped and escaped by closing the center. For this, a message was sent to the parents on behalf of Sanjeev Jha, the operational head of the coaching center late on Tuesday evening. Complaint has been made in Sector-58 police station.

Last week, the fitji coaching center located at Rajnagar District Center was closed. This coaching center recovered advance fees from Rs. 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh from each of their 800 students. Students from class 9th to 12th are preparing for engineering entrance examinations after studying from this coaching center. Manish Gupta, a resident of Shastri Nagar area, was also taking coaching from here. He said that lectures were not running regularly for the last few months. He told TOI, ‘I paid 4 lakh rupees as fees for four years. But the management has been canceling classes continuously for the last three months. This has affected my son’s preparation for JEE Main. When I went to the coaching center last Friday, I found that some teachers were leaving school due to lack of salary.
