Will get relief from traffic jam, CM inaugurates GG Flyover


GG Flyover Bhopal. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated the GG flyover in Bhopal on Thursday. This flyover connects the Ganesh temple located at Habibganj Naka to the Gayatri temple located at MP Nagar. This section is said to be 2.75 kilometers long.

The project, built parallel to the railway metro line, was started in December 2020. The project was managed and completed by the Public Works Department (PWD). The objective of the flyover is to reduce traffic congestion in the area and reduce congestion towards Misrod.

Three arms of GG flyover

Especially the road passing through DB Mall and MP Nagar in the city often faced traffic jams. According to the information, one arm of the GG flyover ends from MP Nagar police station towards Vallabh Bhawan, while the other arm ends towards Makhanlal Chaturvedi University. End at Gayatri Temple near. Apart from this, the third arm ends at Ganesh Temple at Habibganj Naka.

Expecting better traffic flow

This new flyover is expected to significantly improve traffic movement, especially as it complements another flyover at Habibganj Naka. That flyover connects AIIMS and RRL on one side and Barkatullah University and Hoshangabad Road on the other side. Officials believe the new infrastructure will provide much-needed relief to commuters in one of the busiest areas of Bhopal.
