Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that keeping in mind the overall development of the state, the state government has taken a historic initiative of the Destination Cabinet. This initiative also realizes Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s concept of promoting tourism on the ground. On Friday 24 January, the state government is going to hold a cabinet meeting in Maheshwar, the city of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar, which will be dedicated to the 300th birth anniversary year of Devi Ahilyabai. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the entire life of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai has been dedicated to folk welfare and good governance.
The state government is determined by Devi Ahilyabai to follow the overall development by walking on the path shown towards women empowerment, farmer-welfare, good governance. Lokmata Devi will be included in the policy and construction of the principles and ideal state of Ahilyabai. Taking inspiration from their lives, the government has taken effective steps towards women leadership and empowerment.
The main attraction of Maheshwar Destination Cabinet
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will offer prayers to Maa Narmada at Maheshwar Ghat.
A wreath will be offered at the statue of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai.
There will be plantation in memory of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai.
In Maheshwar, there will be decoration in the ghats of Maa Narmada as well as in the city.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Maheshwari will communicate with the weavers who prepared the saree.
Members of the Council of Ministers, Lokmata Devi will observe the palace of Ahilyabai.
