The double murder of mother and daughter in Khamtarai police station area of the capital has come to light. The perpetrator of the murder is an auto driver, who, fed up of blackmailing after an illicit relationship, along with his female colleague, killed first the mother and then her daughter. The accused was so blinded by lust that after killing a 12 year old girl, he raped her dead body.
On the first morning of the New Year, there was a sensation when the dead body of a twelve year old girl was found in a drain on the side of the highway in front of the Metal Park of Khamtrai police station area. Police were engaged in identifying the body when the next day, on the morning of January 2, the body of a widow woman living in Indira Awas, on the side of the highway in Dhaneli, was found in her house. Investigation revealed that the girl whose body was found a day earlier was the daughter of the deceased.
Due to the double murder, various types of discussions started in the area. The police intensified the investigation and started scanning the nearby CCTV footage. Despite interrogating the people visiting the widow’s house, the police did not get any success, but the police did not give up and continued investigating the double murder. Ultimately the police got success.
On the basis of the call details of the deceased, the police reached the accused auto driver and during strict interrogation he spilled the beans. According to the information, the real reason behind this double murder was illicit relations and blackmailing. In this case, the police have arrested the accused auto driver along with his live-in partner who helped in carrying out the murder.
According to the information, accused auto driver Bharatdas previously lived in Dhaneli with his live-in partner Anita. During this time, he started visiting the house of deceased Hamida Begum, and then an illicit relationship developed between the two. Later the deceased started blackmailing him. Finally, fed up, the accused along with his live-in partner committed double murder.
This is how the incident happened
The live-in partner of the accused brought the daughter of the deceased woman to her home. Then as part of the planning, the accused reached the woman’s house and killed her. The accused returned home and told his live-in partner about the woman being killed, hearing which the girl started creating a ruckus. After this, the accused put a pillow over the girl’s mouth and killed her too. During the scuffle, the girl’s dress slipped down and the accused’s intentions deteriorated and he raped the girl’s body.
