Madhya Pradesh government is launching many schemes for women, youth, farmers and poor. In this, special attention is being given to women. The government is working on a plan to build permanent houses, working women’s hostels and day-care centers for women. This scheme is part of the Women Empowerment Mission. Thousands of crores of rupees are estimated to be spent on this. At the same time, the government is also going to provide houses to the beloved sisters.
Government’s Women Empowerment Mission
Madhya Pradesh government is gearing up to empower women. For this, ‘Women Empowerment Mission’ has been prepared. Under this mission, women will be given permanent houses. Hostels will be built for working women. Day-care centers will also be opened for the care of children.
One and two BHK houses will be built
In the first phase, 15,650 one and two BHK houses will be built. 10 one BHK and 40 two BHK houses will be built in each block. The estimated cost of a one BHK house is Rs 20 lakh. The estimated cost of a 2 BHK house is Rs 35 lakh. Approximately Rs 16 crore will be spent on these houses in one block. It is estimated that about Rs 5,000 crore will be spent in 313 blocks of the entire state. These houses will be given to those women who need permanent houses to live.
Government will build hostels in every block
Keeping in mind the working women, the government will build a hostel of 50 rooms in every block. In this way, 313 hostels will be built in the entire state. It will cost Rs 6 to 7 crore to build a hostel. It will cost approximately Rs 1900 crore to build all 313 hostels. These hostels will have all the facilities for women. Facilities like study table, chair, cupboard, wardrobe, attached toilet will be available. Women can choose single, double or triple sharing room as per their need and budget.
There will also be day-care rooms
Daycare for children in hostel Rs.I will also be there. Besides, there will also be a common kitchen and dining hall. You will get good food here at low prices. There will also be facilities for breakfast and tea. These hostels will prove to be very helpful for those women who work and need a safe place to stay.
Apart from this, the government will also create day-care centers at the block level. This will be very beneficial for parents who are both working. They will be able to leave their children safely here and go to work. These day-care centers will remain open till evening. All necessary facilities will be available for children here.
It is noteworthy that only those dear sisters will get this house who will not be eligible for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The government may soon start the process of providing houses.
