Mahakumbh is going on in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Saints and Mahants are seen in many forms in the Kumbh Mela. Devotees are reaching the camp of saints and mahants after taking a dip in the Sangam to get blessings from them and to see their form. It is one of the largest religious events in the world. Recently, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh participated in the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj on Saturday. According to sources, the date of Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Prayagraj has been revealed.
During the Prime Minister’s visit, special arrangements are being made for security in the Sangam area and surrounding areas. The administration has instructed the officials that all preparations should be completed on time.
Yogi cabinet meeting will be held on 22 January during Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. After this, Home Minister Amit Shah will participate in Mahakumbh on 27 January. The schedule of his program has been released, which includes Sangam bath, Ganga worship and meeting with officials. Seeing the arrival of the Home Minister, the police and other security agencies have become alert. Special surveillance is being maintained at major intersections and event venues of the city.
Vice President and President Program
The Vice President is likely to take a holy dip at the Sangam in Prayagraj on February 1. Along with this, His Excellency the President is likely to visit Prayagraj on 10th February. During the President’s visit, he can participate in some major programs organized in the city. Due to the arrival of these high-ranking leaders, administrative and security preparations have been taken to the highest level.
Special emphasis on security arrangements
Keeping in mind the visit of VIPs, Uttar Pradesh Police has tightened the security arrangements. The deployment of security forces has been increased at major places. Special security teams have been activated. Surveillance is being maintained through drones and CCTV cameras. Police officials said that every aspect of security is being closely monitored so that no untoward incident happens. The administration has also appealed to the general public to cooperate and follow the safety protocols.
