Now in Madhya Pradesh, when you call dial 100, the number will not be busy. Besides, the response time will also be reduced, which will make it easier for people to immediately reach their complaints to the concerned officer. In fact, there were continuous complaints regarding calls made to the police during emergency. To deal with this, the government has planned to use AI in the second phase of the emergency response system Dial 100.

Dispatch technology implemented
After receiving funds of Rs 1565 crore for this phase of the project, work has started for issuing the tender. Besides, attention is also being given to innovations. According to the information, to reduce the response time and make it effective, AI based auto dispatch technology will be implemented, which will also reduce the response time to a great extent. In this AI based technology, preparations are being made to implement cloud data disaster, caller number masking and AI auto dispatch technology.

Increase in the number of call handler and dispatcher seats
It is known that Dial 100 receives thousands of phone calls every day from all over the state. In such a situation, there are frequent complaints from the general public that when they call in emergency, the number comes up busy again and again. To deal with this problem, the number of call handler and dispatcher seats will also be increased. The number of call handlers will be increased to 100 and the number of dispatcher seats will be increased from 24 to 40. Along with this, the technique of caller number masking will also be implemented to maintain the confidentiality of the number.

Different vehicles for city and village
-Not only the public, the government is also considering providing facilities to the police department. Under this, in the new tender, separate vehicles will be purchased and given to the police for cities and villages.

-In the city, work can be done even with vehicles with low ground clearance, whereas in rural areas, police require vehicles with high ground clearance. In such a situation, out of 1200 vehicles, more than 500 vehicles with higher ground clearance will be purchased.

the vehicle will receive instructions
After the caller receives the call, the dispatcher is sent. Then the movement of the vehicle takes place from there. But with the advent of AI dispatcher system, in case of emergency, the vehicle will get instructions directly from the caller through AI bypassing the dispatcher process. In fact, till now this process used to take two to three minutes, which will now reduce further. -Adarsh Katiyar, ADG, Telecom
