Greeshma, found guilty of murdering her lover, has been sentenced to death by the Kerala court. During this period, the court has also made many important comments. Grishma had murdered her lover Sheran Raj by giving him slow poison because she wanted to end the relationship. The Neyyattinkara Additional District Sessions Court awarded the death sentence. According to the report, the court says that the convict can no longer be reformed, ‘she wanted the victim to suffer for a long time, so that he would suffer a lot of pain before death.’ Evidence was also presented in the court on behalf of the deceased’s brother that even after the victim was admitted to the hospital, Grishma did not tell what she had fed him.
The court said, ‘Grishma has beaten Sheran to death.’ The court said that this will send a message to the society that a girl can easily kill her lover after breaking the relationship. The court also says that this has increased concerns among lovers and friends. The court said, ‘This gives the message that a lover cannot be trusted…. Nowadays youth are adopting live-in relationships. It was further said, ‘If it is seen lightly, then use and throw is like throwing and anyone can target his partner with it. This will send a wrong message to the society.

According to the case, Grishma wanted to come out of her ongoing relationship with her lover Sheran Raj and for this she conspired to commit murder. To kill Sherran, the girl gave him Kashyam mixed with insecticide. Reportedly, Grishma’s marriage was fixed elsewhere and Sheeran was not ready to come out of the relationship. After consuming adulterated Ayurvedic drink, Sheran was admitted to the hospital for 11 days and during this time he was in extreme pain. His organs gradually stopped functioning. Before dying, he had told his father that he had gone to Grishma’s house and there he had given her Kashyam to drink. Sheron died on the 11th day of drinking it.

The evidence presented before the court shows that Grishma had read about paracetamol overdose on the internet. The court had said that the method of this crime was the same as before. The court said that only a cruel mind would commit the same crime against her boyfriend while making love. The court said that due to repeated crime, she does not deserve mercy. Nirmal Kumaran Nair, the third accused in the case and relative of the woman, was also sentenced to three years imprisonment. The court, in its 586-page judgment, said that considering the gravity of the offence, there is no need to consider the age of the convict.
