WEF said- India is the fastest growing economy in the world, becoming a global hub for startups.

New Delhi
India is one of the world’s fastest growing economies and is developing into a global hub for startups and digital innovation. This information was given in a report on Monday. The report launched by the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR), the liaison office of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in India, said India is championing growth and technology as a bridge rather than a barrier. Is working. This is extremely necessary.

Adding that the Forum is proud to act as its partner in shaping a more human-centred, planet-friendly and resilient future. C4IR India was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in October 2018, with an aim to accelerate the adoption and responsible promotion of emerging technologies in India.
Launched in collaboration between the World Economic Forum and NITI Aayog, the Center is part of WEF’s global network of Centers for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Jeremy Jurgens, Managing Director, World Economic Forum, said, “Over the past six years, C4IR India has emerged as a leading hub for multistakeholder collaboration and has improved the lives of 12.5 lakh citizens through better livelihoods and access to healthcare Is.”

“C4IR India continues to expand and is now focusing on cutting-edge areas such as AI, climate technology and space technology,” Jurgens said.
C4IR India aims to reach 1 crore citizens by taking forward its key initiatives and upcoming projects. These include the ‘AI for India’ initiative, which aims to harness the potential of AI for social benefit. At the same time, the aim of the ‘Space Economy’ initiative is to establish India as a leading country in the field of space technology. Additionally, C4IR India’s ‘Climate Technology’ program will focus on developing climate-smart urban centres.
