Saif Ali Khan Attacked: There has been a shocking twist in the knife attack case on Saif Ali Khan. Latest reports claim that the attacker, identified as Mohammad Shahzad, was a national-level wrestling champion when he lived in Bangladesh. The attacker had allegedly entered India illegally from Bangladesh and has been living in Mumbai for the last few months.
Shehzad barged into Saif and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s luxurious Bandra home on the morning of January 16 and when the Race actor tried to stop him, he attacked him with a knife, stabbed him and fled from the spot. One of her domestic helpers also got injured in the process. The accused had reportedly entered the house with the intention of robbing the actors.
After being arrested from Thane on Sunday, January 19, Shahzad reportedly told the police that he was a district level and national level wrestler in Bangladesh. Police believe that her history as a wrestler helped her overpower Saif and others in the house.
After the attack, Shahzad reportedly traveled to Bandra, Dadar, Worli, Andheri and Thane and when the police finally caught him, he decided to go into hiding near a labor camp in Thane.
During investigation it was also revealed that Shehzad was involved in another robbery a few months ago while working in Worli. She was allegedly accused of stealing a diamond ring, after which she was fired from her job.
She then worked for two months at The Blair All Day restaurant in Thane and her contract expires in December 2024, while Shehzad was sent to five-day police custody by the Bandra court on Sunday, his lawyer defending him said That Mumbai Police has no evidence that the accused is a Bangladeshi citizen. The lawyer said, he said that he came here 6 months ago, but this is a wrong statement. He has been living here for more than 7 years. His family is also in Mumbai.
