At present, counterfeit goods and black marketing have become common in the market, it is not that the administrative officials are not aware of this, tribal villages Amalia, Ghunghuti, Tumi, Timani and more than 100 other villages of Umaria district bordering Shahdol border. But in the name of hawking, some traders of Shahdol are openly selling counterfeit goods, tobacco, cigarettes and gurakhu along with goods of some branded companies, for which no bill has been deducted. Neither is there any food license, the goods are consumed every week in the area by such people on which no kind of GST income tax is paid, in this regard when Abhishek Aggarwal, District President of All India Organization, said. If we wanted to talk, some people said that we do not care about the rules of administration, we do this and will always do it, I do not want any kind of tax, nor any kind of bill, nor food license. After this, he spoke on phone to Abhishek Aggarwal, District President of All India Consumer Upliftment Organization, Umaria, Food Officer and Income Tax Officer of the district, who has received assurance of action against such people. Mr. Aggarwal told that such people will not be of any concern to anyone’s health. There is no concern, their aim is to consume large quantities of counterfeit goods in rural areas, many challans are issued in the name of tobacco control across the district but in reality there is no control on tobacco anywhere, within two-three days Some people will be investigated by giving letters to Forum Court, Food Department, GST Department and efforts will be made to stop such black marketing and tax evasion.
