The whereabouts of Shatrughan Singh Chauhan, who was removed from the post of Tehsildar from Bhitarwar due to woman’s complaint and slowness in work, is not known. On January 10, Collector Ruchika Chauhan had issued orders to remove him from Bhitarwar and attach him to the office of the Superintendent of Land Records. Since then he has not joined this office.
The woman has alleged in the complaint that Tehsildar Shatrughan Singh Chauhan is her husband, and he has multiple wives. In this case, the woman has also demanded action against the Tehsildar and his dismissal.
However, no one knows clearly where Chauhan is now. When Naidunia asked the staff of the land records office where Tehsildar Shatrughan Singh Chauhan was, the staff could not give a clear answer and said that he could not be seen. There is talk that he is not on duty because he is involved in a complaint against him.
Allegations of sexual harassment have already been made
Tehsildar Shatrughan Singh Chauhan posted in Gwalior district is once again in controversy. This time, due to the woman’s complaint of exploitation on the pretext of marriage, she was removed from Bhitarwar tehsil.
Chauhan was earlier the Tehsildar of City Center Tehsil, during his stay here, a complaint against him had reached the Collectorate, in which he was accused of sexual harassment of a female employee.
In this matter the matter reached the local complaint committee and investigation was conducted. After this allegation, Shatrughan Chauhan was removed from the city center and attached to the Collectorate, after which after some time he was sent to Bhitarwar.
Now the woman who has complained is a resident of Thatipur area. The woman has written in the complaint that Shatrughan Singh Chauhan came in contact in 2008, when he was doing business with a sand company in Bhind.
Shatrughan Singh was friends with the woman’s brother-in-law. Due to the death of the woman’s husband, Shatrughan Singh expressed his desire for marriage and gave Rs 15 lakh to the brother-in-law. According to the woman, Shatrughan kept her at different places and kept her undergoing abortion.
The woman has also alleged rape in 2013. Four wives of Shatrughan Singh Chauhan have been mentioned in the complaint and a complaint was lodged at Padav police station on 17 December 2014 but the police did not register the complaint.
